AIChE Update: New Techniques Tame Biofouling

Biofouling plagues many plants in the chem­i­cal process indus­tries. Ongoing research is focus­ing on ways to con­trol a range of bioor­gan­isms, rang­ing from fun­gi to zebra mus­sels, that can cause these prob­lems.
